Hello, guys my cutch slave pre verto is bleeding a little bit and I guess a replacemente would be in order.
The thing is here in Mexico I cannot find the original, is there any other for other car that could serve as a replacement, I hear some datsun parts are compatible, maybe something like this:

Or could you post the main tech info so I could go find a replacement?
thanx

Might it be worth giving it a good scrub out in hot soapy water and a toothbrush and fit a repair kit before you start spending money unnecessarily Nick? Repair/seal kits readily available from the nearby US mini dealers surely?

I can't take credit for what others built- all I can do is try to put her back on the road.

Re: clucth slave substitute
That's good news to hear!
I had no resource for parts a decade ago when i first got my car. I was missing a complete distributor that someone had stolen before i got the car... i asked where to find one on a mini forumn- the mini cooper register at the time.
I was messaged by a gentleman asking for my address in america. He sent me a complete distributor, an extra cap, four new plugs and wires for my car. That allowed me to get it running and hear it purr the first time.
I'm forever thankful to Mr Eckart for that gesture.
Cooper guys are great people usually.
Good luck with your car my friend.
