They are, but repro wheel boxes don't have a great reputation. Probably better to try & sort the original ones before trying new ones.

Totally agree with the above.

Further to this thread though. There is a problem with the push-pull rod that is attached to the drive gear rotor.Probably not in this case. But the brass bush that is riveted to the driven end, that hooks up to the drive on the rotor, wears out or elongates and as it does, the motor clonks like a bastard.

Just a point to be aware of......

If it helps, I can tell you that the stroke of the operating arm in a 120 degree motor is 1" exactly. You can check this with a vernier quite easily if you remove the wiper motor cover and unclip the arm from the gear. If you have 1" then the problem is in rack and/or wheelboxes.

Thanks everyone for your help.
After all your advice I'm 90% sure they wipers are over traveling due to wear.
As advised I'm trying to find some NOS items, not easy sadly 😞
