Buying parts for an engine rebuild and would normally use Glacier/Glyco/Vandervell bearings. I will admit I have never heard of King bearings. Are forum members using this brand ?
Cheers Jim

Re: King crankshaft bearings
They're the ones my local machine shop (CMES Bracknell) supplies so yes, I've used them (successfully so far!
) on all my engines

Re: King crankshaft bearings
Over the past few years a few of the V8 guys have opened the boxes and found manufacturing issues with the odd set, which King have sorted for them with little fuss. Their name is the only I've ever seen pop up in a less than good light. If the set is fine out of the box, then they are as good as any other bearing out there.
