I was told my engine has a stage 4 unleaded head ?
MOWOG number is a 998
What are the other numbers stamped on it?

-2A964 is a standard rocker arm
-The STG 24708 could mean anything, it was added post factory. It could be the job number of the shop that modified it, maybe the combustion chamber cc or the amount skimmed from the face
-12G295 is a small bore head fitted to MG1100, 998 Cooper etc

The “stage number” will vary depending on who did the work, so being stage 3 or 4 isn’t a guarantee on what’s been done to it
