Now! That does look like a fantastic event.
Was it you who had the Whoopsie? I hope the damage isn't too great.

Re: Rechberg Hillclimb
Luckily it was neither my car, nor is the damage too substantial - though still costly with all the clubman panels and rare 1275 GT bits.

Thoroughly enjoyed the vid (though a shame about the Mini falling off), I love watching the European Hillclimb stuff!

Re: Rechberg Hillclimb
there is Ballyvaughan hillclimb in County Clare, it was 2.2 miles long but now only 1.5miles long it was the longest hillclimb in the British Isles, no barriers at all, great event & tough mentally.

followed by the Corkscrew on Sunday but I'm not sure if they hold that still.

Re: Rechberg Hillclimb
There was a fatal accident with viewers a few years ago and hence safety measures are continuesly improved.
The HC events here in continental Europe are extremely fast (Rechberg top speed 237kph) so such safety precausions are indispensible.
The event is a FIA event, and as such such barriers are a requirement - so far as I understand. Nevertheless a couple of racers showed, that the barriers are indeed moveable.
