Fuel tank thingy

I sent a small quantity of the NOS tubes to someone on here, but can't remember who.

I was me and yep, I think I still have a few (3 I think) as some who wanted them at the time didn't follow up once they'd arrived. Richard, pm me if you want any. The grommet I have was cleverly hand made by Dermot, but are now available at Somerford mini.

Andy I've been replying backwards to the posts and have said yes to Timmy - Timmy if you don't mind it would make sense for effort/postage if I were to get these from Andy - but again thank you!

Just finished making this “tool” to assist with removing/installing the drain tube.

7/16” socket, threaded cooper tube and fitting with nut. Used JB Weld to help secure both ends.

I drilled out the socket to expand the inside diameter to 3/8” which allows me to place a plastic hose over the drain tube and feed it through the “tool”. This allows me to redirect the fuel when removing the drain tube.

Due to the limited spacing around exhaust mount I used a grinder to reduce the outside diameter of the socket.
The fitting on the other end allows me to use a wrench to loosen or tighten the drain tube.
