Just finished making this “tool” to assist with removing/installing the drain tube.
7/16” socket, threaded cooper tube and fitting with nut. Used JB Weld to help secure both ends.

I drilled out the socket to expand the inside diameter to 3/8” which allows me to place a plastic hose over the drain tube and feed it through the “tool”. This allows me to redirect the fuel when removing the drain tube.
Due to the limited spacing around exhaust mount I used a grinder to reduce the outside diameter of the socket.
The fitting on the other end allows me to use a wrench to loosen or tighten the drain tube.
