Hello,
I have an engine but I'm not sure at 100% of the size and model because the identification plate was remove.
The gearbox is a 22G1128, the head is a 12G940.
I think it comes from an early 1275GT, does it have casting number to be sure on the block ?
Thank you for your help.

Yes, it should have a casting number on the back, oil pump side. 12G1279 should be the number for a GT block
But it could be from another car. A 1300 block, 940 head and 1128 box is a very generic combination. Does it have 9 or 11 studs for the head?
If it is from the 1275GT (or from a 1300GT) it should have a CR box, but you can only know that for sure by taking a look at the gears.
