Any advice on Speedo cable replacement much appreciated.
I've connected the new one at the back of the Speedometer, just need to disconnect the old and connected the new at the gearbox

Re: Speedo cable replacement
i take off the drive coupling to get undercar Finger access to that area ... my advise is not to use a new a speedo cable with the soft alloy knurled nut . these type Speedo Cables are sold by our favorite supplier .. issue is their speedo cable nut @ gearbox end has supersoft material it gets distorted when it sees daylight. then starts a real fight .. i try to use old OE speedo cables & cover the outer with a bit of heat shrink if they need to look pretty

If you bought an identical length cable and the outer sheath is in good condition I’ve had success in the past by just replacing the inner cable

Thanks
Unfortunately outer sheath is damaged,
I've got the slightly longer one from MS with the chrome plastic knuckle at the gearbox end...
