Saw this car last weekend, what a shame car like that get "restored" by people who are only intrested in money and want to get everything looking new. All the details that make up an original car are gone and that with a car that " it must be one of the best and most original examples on the market !" .
And then on top of that look at the price!!
Unfortunately i like things looking new, i hate rust dust and grime i think its a disorder i have don't know what i am doing with a mini then
Seriously i do like that car but have to agree its not cheap.
Why on earth have they painted the chassisplate black ?????, wrong servo, "chrome" airfilter etc

If you are dreaming of the perfect classic Mini Cooper S, then this is one you should have a go with, as it must be one of the best and most original examples on the market !
I know there is a school of thought that the last Mk2 Coopers perhaps did have this feature, along with the 4 wiper hole scuttle and I owned one myself once, but that was a very late ("H" registered) Mk2 not a 1968 which this car apparently is.
