distance between cylinders

Post by baptiste »

Hi
I don't have the yellow book or the technical journals
Can someone help me ?

Image

What worth x1 x2 and x3 in mm?
I guess that x1=x2 and I have a doubt for x3 if it is longer or not.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, X1 and X3 would be the same. X2 would be greater in the case of an 850/998 and smaller for large bore 1070/970/1275. I can give you exact dims if you tell me what the bores are. Cheers. Doug.

Hi, I checked 2 blocks. In both cases X1 and X3 are 77mm. X2 is 76.0 in one case and 76.1 in the other. I hope this helps. Doug.
