Deja vu ......https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auct ... -998cc-wp/

and Deja Vu again.....https://www.flickriver.com/photos/boblo ... 603346632/ and this was 2017!

maybe they mean Jay Kay bought it at the auction - so easy to get confused with the description when auctioning a car

You might call it ‘Virtual Insanity’
I really liked that car. Nice colour and well presented.

This looks a fine example of an ex-Cooper Car Company racer.
The guide price seems low - are they not as desireable as the red and white rally cars?

Miniowners.org is virtually a scam in itself.

Why are the descriptions so wrong on obvious things like interior originality???

I suppose largely because they don't know and they don't care ;)
And they hide behind the small print about "information supplied by the vendor"

Ex John Cooper my arse. Mike Cooper owned that car for a couple of years about four years ago before some billionaire bought it and JD have now doubled its value plus Vat. How much crap are they prepared to spout to shovel more wonga in, they’re making similarly wild claims about the Radford hatch they’ve put a quarter of a million price tag on hoping to catch another billionaire in their net.

I genuinely don’t understand why they’ve revived the J D Classics name. We all knew Woodham Mortimer were J D Classics but to use the actual name is like calling themselves Ponzi or Madoff!

Don't tell me. John Cooper himself might actually have leant on the car once.

Might be more appropriate given the amount of Brinks Mat gold still sloshing around out there. Allegedly.
