Our own Cliff Porter has agreed to act as official photographer for the day.

I am sure that Cliff will post here regarding this very soon.

Thank you M8. Note the pun Mark on Blyton 8.
I hope I can rise to the challenge and would really welcome comments from participants as to the sort of images they would like me to record, static or action on track so that I can plan my day and achieve my Fitbit count! (and get the Sun in the right direction to follow the cars "getting the wheels in line). I am reasonable good at panning shots - but have found no Gold yet.
May I also suggest that I produce an event CD of High res images from the event for distribution to all competitors, say £10 each with all proceeds split equally between MacMillan & if i remember correctly the Leukemia charity which Phil Anning is supporting. (My Mum had Leukemia and my step mother-in-law had the Cancer and supported by MacMillan so both charities are very close to my heart).
I will pay for the CD's and send them in bulk for to you to collect the donations and distribute to participants.
Maybe I will take some video but not so confident.
Really looking forward to being part of the event.
Cliff
ps For those of you of a certain age, a very good friend suggested that I might be "Wally" as in the "Where's Wally" book so look out for the red & white socks hiding in a flourescent yellow jacket. Might even get a red & white hat!
pps I will issue coloured windscreen stickers for preferred phot type.
ppps Close proximity shots will be pick & mix!

Hi Folks.

I'm pleased to be able to announce that the booking line for this years Blyton Action day is now open.

You can book your places by following the links below.

https://mk1-performance-conversions.co. ... n-day5.htm

Or you can go direct by following these links.

Book a Full Day

https://javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/MiniAction8

Book a Morning Session
https://javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/MiniAction8AM

Book an Afternoon session
https://javelintrackdays.co.uk/trackdays/MiniAction8PM

As always, we are expecting this event to book up very quickly and although we will not be announcing it anywhere else for a day or two, the word is bound to spread fast. So if you want a place, I would strongly suggest you book sooner rather than later.

Thanks,

Mark & Pete.

It’s action shots around the track we always struggle for. Big Stu (who’s just departed the forum) used to be a god send because his photos were brilliant and he very kindly and freely shared them. We did have a couple of pro snappers selling discs of action shots a couple of times and drivers do very much like those as a memento of their day on track.

An alternative to the CD might be to send a secure link to the images to be downloaded to a laptop, once a paypal donation has been received, maybe using wetransfer or something similar.

As Pete says action shots on track are always very welcome, the more embarrassing 'offs' on camera the better :D

Booked in for the whole day....just need to put my customer's Cooper S rally car back together, service a whole heap of customers' trailers and then I can start to remove the engine for rebuild on my own car. What could possibly go wrong?

Right who tried to pay with bitcoins!? 😆 . Javelin’s website also went down just after Xmas and it looks like they’re still suffering the same problems, still down this morning.
