SP44 Tyres
Evening. Has anyone had experience of using the SP44 from Vintage tyres on the road? Is it abysmal, the originals weren’t, or is it acceptable? Cheers

Re: SP44 Tyres
I’ve used them on the road. They are not exceptional but if you don’t try extreme driving styles they are fine. Surprisingly good on dry tarmac. Wet conditions Ok but breakaway under heavy braking (bent car to prove it).
Great in snow.

Re: SP44 Tyres
I bought a set for the Moke, after having robbed a bank to pay for them. They were very difficult to balance & I hated them once they were on. I sold them & have since been using a set of shitty remoulds in their place which have been fine.
Not worth the money.
