1965 works fabric

Post by Bullitt »

Hi all. Any of you could tell where this fabric come from? It was used for bmc works minis seats in 1965. I think it could come from another car of bmc group upholstery.

Thanks for trying.

Well I never.... looks more of a purely aesthetic option....was there a practical reason, maybe soaking up sweat or stopping your backside moving about ?

Lovely material, less slippy, less sweaty and greater warmth than vinyl...
