Anyone got/know of a nice classic for sale? mini or not, I'll consider anything, but I'd prefer to stay A series...

Ouch. Such a shame to see another classic bashed up. :(
As above, hope there were no injuries.

I can let you buy this:

Seriously, that doesn't look bad enough to scrap?

Its the engeneers who will write it off for sure... I priced up the panels which came to £820, then theres a bumper and a grill to get, and a sidelamp unit.... then all the labour cost.... which im pretty sure will all outweigh the value of the car... I will break it, at least others will be saved... few bits that will be useful for the minis too... ;)

should be getting assessed early next week...

There is a bloke near me in Essex called Steve who is 1100 mad. He seems to have a real penchant for repairing these cars to a very high standard (and has numerous spares/cars) Let me know where you are (not sure if you are even in the UK !)and he might be able to repair your car with the mountain of spares he has. Cheers. Mark

Im in Huddersfield... the subframe is twisted and the bulkhead is torn where it mounts to it... I really dont think they will repair it...

Assessment tomorrow, or friday...

If it's a genuine 1300GT then it could be worth saving. If you need a front subframe then I have one you can have (collect only, Edinburgh)

A common mistake... I just bought the Grill and Dash... ha!
