Just had a very dodgy Email. Supposedly from Scott Miller(To the Floor in a 64).Looks like his account has been hacked(NOW REPORTED)
You know the type " on holiday with my mum and she's been taken ill, need money" etc etc etc.

Thanks Gareth....my email has been hacked. And I don't need any money in EU currency when I am sitting in the US. I am trying to change all my passwords now...but still need to figure out how to change it here. Someone posted a similar comment on the minimania sight yesterday just before I realized my account had been hacked. Thanks for posting it here and reporting it. I don't want any of my Mini friends falling victim to this.

Thanks Mark...I don't know where your email went to....so I started a new account with a different email;

I sent out the following email about an hour ago to everyone in my contacts....

To all my friends and the three dick smokers who stole my account.

To start with I and my mum are fine are are presently in the United States. We do not need your money. Please spend it on yourselves and enjoy it.

FYI: There were a minimum of three people who stole my hotmail account and they were good. They fought hard to keep my account. They changed all emails and phone numbers associated with the account and intercepted almost all contacts with hotmail to myself and my account including one time use codes. Hotmail could not confirm that the account was mine and were basically doing nothing to return it to me. Luckily my wife is more computer savy then I could ever hope to be and more savy then the hackers. It took her about a day and a half but she was able to steal my account back from them. She also recovered 2 IP's in different countries and one of their phone numbers. So all is well and that is all I will write publicly.

If you can get the email addresses the they need posting everywhere for the spambots to latch onto phone numbers could be sent to a friendly village people style site

This is what my wife had in the printer....she is gone now. Remember I don't know jack about computers.

Two email addresses (but she said she had their IP's)

The phone number is no good here...I already tried it. but may be good in another country as the wife said they were in two different countries. but here it is ...feel free to do as you want with it. I'm going to call comcast as I am already paying $4 a month for free international calls. 576-656-5766

I replied to your old Hotmail address before so no doubt the scumbags got that mail too.

I have now deleted that account leaving just this new one.

Congratulations to your wife for managing to get one over on these cockroaches.
