My very first attempt at a "Custom dash" for my Mini when I was bearly 17 looked similar, but probably a bit better than the effort on that "Coachbuilt" Mini

While we're on the subject of the Radford, W&P and any of the others who did the various mini and cooper - and even clubman conversions. Are there records left/remaining that show the chassis/registration number against the conversion spec and paint colour? Or have they been lost in the mists of time.
I'm thinking of the various John Cooper conversions too. There seems to be no written records cross referencing a work number against a chassis or registration number of any worth. Just generalisations....... that are a bit obscure and mysterious. Cooper conversions...., another case of "Caveat Emptor" . Luckily, the MCR's John Parnell seems to be slowly unravelling the Cooper conversion mysteries against TRUE quantities

Vacuum gauges were second only to rev counters back in the good old days. What's the point of a Gauge if the needle doesn't swing about wildly

If you want gauges that swing about wildly then by an Inno Export Cooper. Those Jaeger and Veglia items could dance to any tune, not just swing. The ones in mine sometimes needed waking up with a slight tap on the glass.

Green Cooper S, NWV reg above. Anyone else looking at the small pics, notice the circular and oval cut-outs down the radiator support bracket? Any reason....., except to allow the cooling air you want the fan to push INTO and THROUGH the radiator, to take the line of least resistance and vent itself outwards. Or is this another mini enigma?

Possibly helps at speed and hinders at standstill. Suppose it depends if it had an overheating problem and when.
More curiously is why it has a full plumbed in fire extinguisher system when it doesn't look to have been built to be use in anger.

Yes, I reckon there'll be some filler in that one. Had a bit of a blowover hasn't it. Not Teal Blue though I don't think. A little too early a car anyway isn't it? Blue Royale or Trafalgar Blue maybe?
