Hi, I have a few Lucas 35038B flasher units. 48w. Three terminals.
Are they suitable for a Mini or are they off something else?
Thanks in advance. Mark

Re: Lucas Flasher units
48w, I think that's off a Lucas Hazard Warning light switch adaptors thinggies.
It will work as a standard flasher but something in my brain cells tells me that it wasn't permitted because as a hazard flasher it would flash regardless of the amount of bulbs - even if one was blown in a shunt where you needed hazard flashers. In usual mode you'd never know a bulb was blown and other motorists.......... anyway. Voltage sensitive as opposed to current sensitive seems to spring to mind.
Could be completely wrong of course and hopefully someone will be quick to put me right

Re: Lucas Flasher units
I would say 48W is a standard flasher unit 2x 21W plus a bit for the tell tale and side repeater (if it’s later, which with 3 terminals I suspect it is)
