Heater Rheostat switch pre ‘63 ?

Post by jl46 »

I just discovered what I believe is the switch panel for my Nov. 1961 built Austin Countryman.
The Heater Rheostat Switch has a heating icon rather than the more common H with turn arrow (see photos).

Would this be the correct switch for this build date? I can’t seem to find a part # for the switch or info. On when it was used!
Any help is much appreciated.

If it's got a heater like this it should have a knob marked 'H' fitted to the rheostat switch. 32 & 33 in the picture.

The switch, or at least the knob, looks very Triumph Herald/Vitesse
