accelerator cable pulley

Post by totore »

hello,
I have two pulleys for the accelerator cable, I don't think it's original, has anyone seen this (997 November 1961) Thank you in advance.

My November 1961 x 997 just had the Throttle Cable with the standard linkage ( no additional pulley)

Nope, nor me. Looks like a home made jobbie to smooth-out the run of the cable.

When I was working we had a lot of 'remote' kit operated by cables. A bit more complicated than our mini choke and accelerator cables, believe me, and were taught to let the cable take its natural curvature and secure it at a max of two points!
