Something is not right the brocade door trim & dash liners are missing ?
No vinyl on upper dash rail, and the Cooper badge is in the wrong position
What about the rear window ? is it the angle the photo is taken ? or is it too big = MK II ?

it's for sale by Tiger sportscars, the guys that make a seven style kit. I think they had it advertised at £6500

At £6500 its a nice little Mk1 if the body is as solid as it looks. I would say on the face of it that it is a lot of Cooper bits which have been decanted into an 850 sdl shelll. As has already been said, incorrect badges, brocade and black vinyl missing etc. Having said that, it does look like a very pretty little car with 'S' wheels and Cooper seats. It would be a nice running project to have some fun with without having to remortgage! Very nice too and if i had the funds i would snap it up!

I dont know but it has either had door jamb repairs or its an early shell as there are no courtesy light switches in the door apertures. It would be nice to see the engine as it has the remote conversion fitted.

Is it wrong that I am more interested in the 7/Caterham type thing in the background?
