Don't worry Stuart...it gets very difficult with these long running threads to remember what has been posted before and if you scan through the whole thread that can take quite a while, by which time you lose the will....

I only remembered because the photo were taken by a friend of mine and I thought you might like to see others from the same meeting at Brands.

Motor Racing At Brands Hatch Crash
A race Mini driven by Paul Watson landed on top of Press Photographers Victor Blackman and Paul White both escaped unhurt....
(Note: newspaper cutting below says driver Paul Wilson but it was actually motoring journalist Paul Watson).

The Bill McGovern car was a ‘63 1071, Newtune car, would have been 1293 by the time Bill crashed it. he loaned it to Gerry Marshall a couple of times. The other crashed Mini in shot is Chris Montague’s which went off at the same spot (Paddock Hill)

You got it. That was at the GP I went to with some of the other apprentices from work. It was the first time I used a 35 mm camera which was my dads pint & shoot hence they were all blurry though I did get one of Fittapaldi in a JPS Lotus which was reasonable.
