Su fuel pump wiring

Hi, just a quick one. Su electric fuel pump. One black wire and one white wire. Which goes where ?

Black to earth, whute to the pin on pump body.

Usually there is a screw on the pump body - sometimes with a spade terminal for the earth connection.

Can I make a simple suggestion Aginley?

While you're working on your fuel pump wiring, attach the wires to the pump, about 10cm long with solder-on bullet connectors on the other end. Put similar bullets on the appropriate end of the wiring harness and connect up. That way to remove the fuel pump in the future you can simply disconnect the wires instead of having to unbolt them.

Another good idea I saw a few months ago was to replace the steel nut that holds the circular fuel pump clamp with a brass wing nut. Makes removal and replacement soooooooo simple! I'm all for the easy life

BLACK - EARTH goes to the male connector B, screwed to the SIDE of the housing
WHITE, Ignition, live goes to terminal A
