I appear to have collected to many brown objects
Can anyone identify any junk or treasure amongst them. They’re all different apart from the duplicates not in the picture.

Does #4 have seams on the side of the 3 branches?
If so it could be original Cooper S manifold.

No 2 appears to be identical to that as was fitted to my Mk1 1275S when I bought the car back in 1973. Not on the car at present but is hanging in my garage. However, I am inclined to agree that the genuine manifolds were similar but with the seams down the sides. I would consider my tubular one therefor to possibly be some early after market "up-grade"

Can you take a picture of No4 where the centre pipe appears to clamp into the manifold ?
It looks more like an ADO16 manifold as the centre pipe on them fitted much higher up than an S manifold.

Does that clamp hold the manifold and remains of the lower pipe together ?
The ADO16 manifold has an 'outer' piece welded around to the manifold to form. The centre pipe then slides inbetween the outer and inner ring and is then clamped together.
I'll see if I have a photo of Dad's ADO16 manifold.

So number 4 appears to be of ADO16 origins.
1 & 3 generic LCB.
2 unknown. OD 1.75”

That certainly looks identical to the one we fitted to my Dad's VDP 1300, with a standard exhaust.
