Mk1 Piano hinge fixing screws

Post by Andrew1967 »

Does anyone know where you can get the tiny Phillips head countersunk screws to hold the piano hinge on to the frame fixing tabs ?

Also does anyone make the tabs ?

I've messaged 1071Bob as he's the first person to spring to mind ;) :)

I do have some s/steel blanks I was going to bend and tap for the joiners but never got around to it, if you need some let me know.

Hi Bob,

I sent an email to your F1 email address.

Anyway, yes please could I have a couple of the plates and the screws / rivets to fit up. Could do with 8 of the short screws in case I need to replace them in the other frame.

What thread are they ?

Thanks :)

I just spent an hour bending a piece of steel for this and I know it’s not right.. I’d be grateful for a kit to fix this properly.
