I bought a lovely flat moto-lita at Blyton, and have a conical (rather than tulip) boss I have always believed to be an original Moto-lita that I'll use to fit it to the moke, but it has an internal diameter of 83mm, and all the centres I have are smaller.
I don't want one of the plasticky 80s ones, and the Mk2/3 centres are just a wee bit too small. Before I start turning up alloy adaptors etc, does anyone have any suggestions? did any of the bigger range of Austins have bigger wheel centres (the Cambridge etc)?
(and I don't need to worry about the horn push, it just needs to be a simple Austin / crest).

It's the boss like this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154958623822 ... Swpl1iYTOV
is that a specific plastic piece that allows the standard non horn push badge to fit?
Or do I just go with this: https://www.moto-lita.co.uk/accessories ... stic-caps/
it just looks a bit cheap & nasty

Those types where made for th MG from 1962 up till 1969 with 48 splines and a splinehole of 19mm. These are the same as the classic Mini but will not take the mk1 hornpush.
DOWNTON Mini is what I like a lot.

What about the Moto-Lita alloy cap: https://www.moto-lita.co.uk/accessories/billet-cap/
Not cheap but looks way better than the plastic one,

Re: Moto-lita boss / centre
I’ve got a couple of those bosses & the horn button looks ok with a black leather wheel. I guess the other option is buying the B1-OE boss that takes a Mk1 horn button
