Post by 65MK1S »

I'm looking for the hardware to attach the 2 lower posts on the
rear seat. Any help would be appreciated :)

They not just poke down through the two holes in the rear bulkhead?

Did the "hardware" consist of a short length of rubber (or similar material) on each post, just covering the post?
Or was this only on some Aussie minis?

Now you mention it, I'm sure that the prongs DID have a bit of rubber slipped over the ends. Alas, as soon as the top part was screwed into place, from below, the rubber 'johnnies' tore and you never saw or used them again.

I think it was a piece of clear plastic tubing from memory.

You can just make out the black rubber tubing - 66 cooper

Your mean these little pieces? I was thinking of putting some shrink wrap on
the metal posts, might wear better :)

Sorry I neglected to mention the rubber ends. I used two layers of shrink wrap on mine :-)
