I guess they're trying to avoid sellers fees. If fleabay spot it, it will get taken down. Or they will charge seller fees if the buyers put their bids in through the messaging system.

If you want a real classic woodrim steeringwheel this is a perfect buy for reasonable price.
It's not mine, to expensive to get it over the channel to buy it my self.

Surprised nobody’s mentioned this one. £175K. Has anyone got any history at all on it? pre 90s?

I’ve never seen any Nick. I know it was in Lancashire in the 60s and remember a sale advert in the back of Autosport but nothing after that.

Despite JME,s claim that the car " Was subject to a full restoration by BG " in the 1980,s....this is untrue :o

''Not for the faint hearted'', I'll say.... but if there's another Andrew Sparrow out there.... ;)

Some interesting bits on it though, the Weber carb, aftermarket dash, weird rear view mirror etc.

She's a bit rough Nidge ... been there and done that .. if it was local though ...

Really odd the Heritage .. I'd have thought that 50 *** engine number is a 1275S number, certainly not 998. BMIHT or factory record mistake ??

In the blurb he suggests it might be a ‘night shift car’ that’s had the S bits added. Certainly an interesting car…
