Hi,
I’m trying to get my 64 Cooper ready for the L-B run on the 15th following a complete rebuild. Having problems with the clutch. It has been into my local garage 3 times to try and fix it but still having problems. After a very short while of driving it engaging a gear is causing the cogs to grate. Garage says they have check air in the system and can’t see any other obvious issues. Any other suggestions please.
Thanks

If you’ve adjusted it correctly and there’s no air in it, there’s probably wear in the clutch arm ball and socket and/or the pedal/master cylinder clevis
