valve stem seals on a 12g295 head

valve stem seals on a 12g295 head
i know fitting the top hat seals is tight while using double springs but has anybody else used these on a cooper head with sucess or does the double inner spring ride them off the valve guide??
for my sins,i own a 1957 wolsleley 1500

provided you have guides with the groove for seal location and you have lower spring seats its all fine.

no groove on the guides on my 1964 12g 295
