Australian 1968 MK1 Cooper S steel rim colours

Post by Bimbadeen »

I have a set of original 10" steel Cooper S wheels that I wish to restore and need to confirm colours. I'm told the exposed surfaces should be Silver Birch Metallic, 06968, Dulon & Duco and that the inside (usually covered by tyre) is a burgundy/maroon colour...presumably an undercoat? Can anyone assist in confirming or otherwise please?

This is another of the most frequently discussed subjects on the forum, over several years. I suggest that you use the forum search facility - insert silver wheel colour - and you'll read about all of the 'silver' variables you were likely to encounter.
