More 10" did see the daylights

Post by UHR850 »

Over here in the Netherlands more old 10" rims are seeing the daylight after years in the dark.

These are actually 13in alloys from a Chevrolet Cosworth Vega sold in the mid-seventies here in north America. Pretty sure they share the same bolt pattern as the Mini but I doubt they would fit. Might be good for a Sprite or Minor? Added bonus that is a Cosworth Vega gauge cluster in photo as well.

I thought I had seen those before, and you have jogged my memory.

Same as the Vauxhall Chevette HS, a distant cousin of the Chevy Vega.

Further thread hijacking ... the Chevette/Vega wheel is a good looking wheel IMHO. I do prefer the Cosworth Vega application however. Although I'll bet the Vauxhall was the better car in the long run.

...yes thought the same, and the front resembles the Opel Manta in some way. Certainly the same GM designer team at work.

I know it's a very personal thing but some of the 10" alloys look hideous or as ugly as a box of frogs! Dunlop claimed that during production of their D1 style wheels, their mini wheels outsold all of the others combined
