Is this a radiator for a Mk1 cooper s 1965?

Pretty sure that's a slightly later 'dimpled' S radiator for late Mk1 or Mk2.

Should be a part number and date on one of the side rails that will shed more light.

The number 47 is week 47 but there should be a year after that.

Yes, the earlier version is like this ... correct for an early 65 car ...

Depends which month in 65 are you looking for?

That ARA 2064 radiator looks correct for Mk1 1275 S from approx May 1965 onwards.
Earlier radiators had the rectangular Coventry ID plate and inlet at the corner per Andrew’s photo.

Also, once it became available BMC Special Tuning issued guidance to use the ARA 2064 on all Cooper and S.
