heater

Post by jamesnutter50 »

I have a smiths heater on the left side its the big square box one. the problem i have is someone has removed most of the parts including the fan tubing etc.

is it worth buying the parts for this heater if you can still get the bits? or can you upgrade to the heater mounted in the middle of the dash ?

Regards

James

put the post mar 63 heater in my late 62 super deluxe and it works ok,,if its a pre mar 63 the holes may need redrilling and mounting the rear of the central mounted heater is a faff..

i had to fabricate some brackets

the blower off an early sprite/midget ,,pipe from a wolseley 1500 matrix from austin a 60 (i believe) the front scoop is also off an mg and slightly doctored

hope its some help
