Bolt in type tank sender are used with a moving iron gauge and work differently to the later units. Their resistance is 96 ohms when FULL. Dropping towards zero when empty.

According to spider on here a while back..."The standard Mini Sender goes from 15 ohms (full tank) to 290 ohms (empty tank)."
Can anyone confirm if this is also true of the early screw in type (pre voltage stabiliser) please - as about to test a few and pick one for the S.
Cheers
Edit to say can't find the info in the manual... or am I missing it???
The figures I've given there are for the later senders that are used with a stabaliser.
