Rear radius arm unusual washers

Post by rolesyboy »

Would somebody mind explaining what the offset grooves set in to the washers on radius arm bushes are for? I would like to replace them with some zinc plated or stainless ones but suspect I won't be able to do this. Does anybody supply such a thing? Cheers. Mark

So it spreads the grease over the entire moving mating surface.

Never seen 'em in either stainless or plated, but have seen some good results from the frost bright zinc plating kits. Suppose you could mask them up and just plate the outer edge you see.
Getting 'em made in Stainless, you'd need to make sure you got the correct grade ie. non of that chinese 'shite'..........
