I'm after seat covers for a type 1, in fact just the bottom one if anyone can help.

Last time I heard, Gareth was suffering health problems & I have not heard from him for a long, long time.

I know he owes some members here (me included) seats.

What a bummer for all concerned. Hope they weren't Microcells or Restalls Mark !
Real pity as the repro seats he made looked amazing and at good prices as well.

Hello all,
Yes, as Mark has mentioned,I have long been suffering "health problems" , until very recently. Mark ,who I confided in about my predicament, was kindly being very discreet when he said "health problems",by leaving out the mental bit. :o
I am not going to waffle on here or look for any kind sympathy ,but I just feel the need to make the following brief statement and put things in perspective.

I have suffered from bouts of anxiety and depression for a number of years now and have generally coped well.Unfortunately 2010 from the outset was a particularly very difficult year and ending up by having a major episode. As result I became very inactive and reclusive .After number of months I wrote a letter to Mark, explaining my reasons for going AWOL and asked if he would be good enough to contact /make aware for me,the only other two customers who still had orders outstanding ,namely Paul(RTJ) and Alex(Alexandevrs).I would just like to point out and make clear that, at the time I was in possession of 2 seats from Mark, 4 from Paul for re trimming and was to provide an interior for Alex, all of which I had not accepted any kind of payment "on account" for.Alex's order was completed back in June 2011 , Mark and Paul have now been brought up to date.I would like to thank again Mark ,Paul and Alex for their patience and support during this time.

Hopefully ,now I've finally "broke cover" I can look forward to contributing again on this super forum, something I have really missed.
All the best
Gareth

Welcome back to the fold Gareth!

You know you are very welcome & as I have said many, many times before you are by far & away the best man for seats I have ever come across, and may I say a TOP BLOKE TOO!

Very best wishes for the future.

BTW. As I said to you in my mail the other day, my seats look superb!
