I’m thinking of replacing my existing stage 3 5 port head and twin HS4s (1330cc with Kent 276) for the SC 7 port, ITB and mappable ignition kit. Mainly for some more torque.
The car is used for enthusiastic road use and some track days.
Lots of 8 port info on here but not much 7 port that I can find.
Can anyone share experiences or opinions or advice please?

Re: 7 port pros/cons
I really like the idea of a 7port but I'm always put off by stories about porous castings, I know one engine builder stopped selling them for this reason..

Ports too big so not enough port velocity?

Re: 7 port pros/cons
Having read Oz’s comments on Alex’s post (7 or 8 port advice), I think I may shelve this ‘bolt on’ idea.
Maybe a turbo would serve me better in the long run.
