Re: 1960 / 70's Mini Racing Photos
Martin, I guess you are getting these covers from the excellent Motor Racing Programme Covers Project?
https://www.progcovers.com/motor/index.html
If not this is a great site, they also have some full programme scans
Here's one that may interest Pete

Nice one Stu, I have that one. The one I can’t find is the 1965 Snetterton 500!
Great grid for that ‘64 Brands race though

From 'Sporting Minis' :-
Very sad to hear about the passing of Jon Mowatt (1945-2021). Mini racer in the late 60s and flying the flag for the Mini in the British Saloon Car Championship in the 70s. RIP

While we are at it:
Tony Dron, not so well known driving Minis, but very successful in Dolomite Sprints and the Broadspeed Group 2 Jaguars passed away recently.

But he drove a BMH-Mini in the '96 24h Nürburgring.

British Movietone - Silverstone International Trophy. (17 May 1962)
"Competitors in the Production Touring Race included Anita Taylor (Ford Anglia), Christabel Carlisle (Austin Cooper), Elizabeth Jones, also in a "Mini", and Graham Hill (Jaguar), who won the race at an average of 85. The big event of the day was the Silverstone International Trophy. And it was Graham Hill again, this time in the BRM. In one of the most daring performances of his career, he passed the flag in just under 100."

British Pathe - Motor Show 200 Meeting - Brands Hatch (Oct 1967).
"Many former champions compete in saloon car race at Brands Hatch, Kent. (Stirling Moss climbing into racing car and being push started. It is a V16 BRM Mk 11 car. Stirling Moss passing camera on circuit). Various shots of the saloon cars waiting on grid. Anita Taylor is seen in her Anglia. Various shots of the start, during race and as chequered flag coming down for racing driver Frank Gardener in the Alan Mann Ford Falcon. Various shots of a car coming in for pit stop and changing wheel. Frank Gardener receives trophy."

Re: 1960 / 70's Mini Racing Photos
Really interesting film. Does anyone know what number/who was driving the mini at the back of the field was? My eyes are too far hone to make it out as it flashes by.
Re: 1960 / 70's Mini Racing Photos
Car at the back is No.86, driven by David Dunell
