Standard rad mount to S Spec
Hmm. Supercharger pulley in the way. Guess I need to be S spec to clear it. Is it a job that can be fabbed up at home ? Or is it just order the bits and get on with it? Back in the day would an s spec shroud have been an easy find? Or is a home brew job more in keeping?
I've got a 69 Mini with a 1046, Cooper Head and a four on the floor.

Re: Standard rad mount to S Spec
If your lower shroud is ok you can covert it to S spec by changing the lower bracket. You'll need to find a 'double bend' connecting bracket to suit or you can bend the standard one to suit.
I have a couple of the shroud brackets but no connecting bracket.

I modified mine with one of these brackets, then bent my standard lower mount bracket as per pic above and worked fine, much easier than sourcing correct parts.

Where do you get this new S type lower shroud part? Or have I got to fabricate one?

I’ve taken the lazy option and just ordered it all up from minispares. 7ent seem to sell the weld on bracket.
