Re: HALDA ---> Correction Gears
I no longer have any Halda equipment, but I would agree that the gears look like some type of brass. Obviously there are many different grades/alloys of brass, but someone like a clock/watchmaker might be able to elaborate on what the likely material would be, given they would repair/manufacture similar gears for clocks.

Re: HALDA ---> Correction Gears
The top left ones have been kept in a bag since the early 80s and never used. They do look like brass of some kind. Isn't someone reproducing them somewhere?

Re: HALDA ---> Correction Gears
I was very sad to hear this news on Friday.
I am sure that I am not the only person who will miss Scott's contributions here, but at this sad time, my thought's are with his family.

Re: HALDA ---> Correction Gears
I remember back the days when I was entering so many regularities in Greece on my Triumph
I used www.belmog.com/ in Belgium. Hedwig is a really good guy and helps a lot.
Then, there was also a guy in Germany, called Willi Potjans. And his website if I remember well was www.halda.de
But it looks like this shop has been bought by the VHCLASSICS.DE at some point on 2018
It seems that they offer the full range of the gears here www.vhclassics.de/contents/de/p988.html
Sometimes I was buying also from holden.co.uk , although it looks now that his stock is so limited regarding these "gadgets"
I always keep an eye on ebay. You may find some good things there some times
Cheers

Re: HALDA ---> Correction Gears
As far as i see, VHCLASSICS also sell the gears seperately for a price of 25 to 29 euros each
