Post by WesleyB »

Hi,

i have a question
I want to put a sticker on my doors from my Cooper '67

First, what is the color of a works ? Because I see white but also creme color ?
What is the size of the sticker ? I talk about sticker, because I don't want to spray. But is it original sprayed ?

What is the correct position ?
Maybe there is a place, diagram ?

Many thanks !

I'm sure plenty of others will explain that "Old English White" is a bit "creamy" compared to some whites. At least BMC were more consistent than Ford, whose "Diamond White" ranged from a very "pure" white to distinctly cream.

There was no "standard" (ie, FISA, FIA) size for numbers on International events until later years than the works Mini period. UK RACMSA regs had required 11" high numbers at an earlier date than any FIA standard. Some events (Monte Carlo for example) required larger numbers than others in period.

G’day

The font type always puzzled me. Any thoughts on what font was used?
