I have a purple wire, purple & white wire & a black wire in the courtesy light position on the headlining frame, please will someone help by letting me know the correct wiring connections to the light fitting?

I think there is a fixture missing on the end marked purple, like the other end. The bullet shaped fitting there now is to attach the wires.

The light fitting is the later MK2 type with the white switch, have you seen a different type of connection fitting for the purple wire connection?
