Rolling Road Recommendations?

Post by tweedy998 »

Hi all,

Just a quick query about mini / A-Series friendly rolling roads, preferably in the North. Who is good these days?

Back in the 90's my Mini's had engines built and were regularly worked on & tuned by Andy & Ron (and on a couple of occasions Jeff himself) at GRV Developments in Littleborough. I fear their expertise in engine set up is perhaps going to be a difficult thing to find these days but if anyone has any RR recommendations I'd love to hear them.

Cheers! Ed.

Yes RIP GRV!

Tom Bell might be your nearest option? Sorted my sprint car out a couple of years ago.

Happy days, I feel lucky to have caught the last days of a truly golden era now in retrospect. I spent countless hours 'helping out' Andy on that Rolling Road, which mainly entailed watching a true magician at work. Then there was the time Nobby fitted a 266 cam to my 998 by going in through the inner wing... so many tales! :D
