Croft Historic Race Meeting 7th/8th August

Post by cookie1071 »

Anyone on here going to this? Me and a few mates going on the Saturday to display some cars and hence, watch the racing from a good vantage point. ;)

Race meet forms part of a Goodwood Revival style event being run to raise £ for the circuit - click on link below if you want more info.:

Whether we get there or not is all a bit up in the air at the moment, as we return from our holiday in Egypt the day before. A 5 hour plane journey followed by a drive from Heathrow home, another 3 or 4 hours may not be conducive to us jumping in the Jeep & doing 40 miles an hour for an hour or so early the following morning.

We will however see.

It does look like it will be an excellent do.

Doing both the Saturday and the Sunday now, with 6-8 cars on each day, so say hello if you're passing. Cheers, Niall.

A really good event this :D - there was something for everyone: racing, classic cars :geek: , motorbikes, military vehicle and aircraft displays, fancy dress , ;) and great not to have to drive quite so for our our entertainment!

Few pics here on the MCR forum:

Let's hope they run it again next year - a Goodwood Revival for the North East in the making! ;)
