Hi,
I am refitting the hydro lines to my 65 shell, and looking for some advice.
I bought a used pair of pipes, which I have refurbed and pressure tested.
They came with spiral cut plastic hoses fitted. I presume these should be fitted where the pipe is clipped onto the floor?
I have cleaned one up, see photo attached. Are these original? If not, what was the original approach?
What was the original option to perform the same task on the brake pipes? Open to any modern suggestions as well.
Thanks.

They actually go between the clips, they are anti rattle sleeves, nothing to do with protection.......

Poor choice of words on my part "protectors". I was thinking to protect the pipe from damage from the clips and to stop them rattling.bwaminispeed wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 5:07 pm They actually go between the clips, they are anti rattle sleeves, nothing to do with protection.......

I'm sure that this has been aired before CheeseBadger. Those protector thinggies don't go between the pipe and the floor bracket clips. They're as BWA says, and fit over the pipe between brackets and clips and prevent vibration and rattling

Thanks bwa and Peter for correcting me, really appreciated.
I will fit them in between the floor clips - photos to be added to my build thread (eventually!)
