In search for period type (new) front seat(s) Mk2S
I really need to replace original seats, at least driver's one. Restoring original seats in not cheap either.
How do you find these seats?
Cobra & Corbeau, any good?

Maybe more like it:
Contour & Microcell https://www.classictrim.co.uk/

Hi
I have started using the Newton replica recliners and find them good, I am 6ft and the back support is a massive improvement on the std seats and adjustable of course

I like the Newton ones, shame there are no headrests though

Than you for your opinions. Newton replicas probably a choice of mine too.
For a -68 car no headrests, period look is important to me. Drivers seat could be a bit racier, maybe, should I fancy to enjoy the power available.

Agree about the style with no headrests but removable ones could get round the issue…

I have recliners in my mk2 Cooper, original not repro, and I find them very comfortable compared to the standard fixed back seats. I would go for the Newton recliners.

Great, thank you. I think we have a winner!
Not having the slimmest back side, comfort is high priority (to maintain "road reading sensor" functioning)

I bought a pair of refurbished Microcells from Classic Trim last year for my Mk2 S, they're a different style to the ones shown on their website but they're very comfortable, they replaced the Newton recliners I sold to Snoopy64
