I recently bought some Les Leston Microcell seats.
Although they came with ‘Cooper S’ subframes they definitely don’t fit a mini and need some serious tweaking to fit. I also can’t fathom out how best to connect a subframe to the bottom of the seat which is round tubular with leather wrapped around, as they have no flat section to bolt though. Any ideas of the best way to connect the seats to a subframe?
Would you drill and bolt through the tube?

Re: Seat subframes
My similar seats have captive nuts positioned within the lower seat frame tubes that the seat adjuster top section bolts into .. have a look at what is hidden under the leather on the lower tubes?

Re: Seat subframes
I’ve had a good prod looking for holes and captive nuts but nothing. Will have to drill the seat tubes I think. Just need some wide enough seat subframes now.
