Identification brake caliper

Who can tell me anything about this brake caliper ?

It is from alloy and has a lockheed label on it.

Distance between the mounting bolt centres please. It looks like an 80's Commando caliper or a Triumph.

Bleed valve?

Ist is a Mini one for 7.5“ discs

Hazy memory, but I seem to remember a Formula Ford (or similar) alloy calliper that was essentially the same as the S calliper.

Maybe wrong but my understanding is that early FF cars used standard 997 x7inch Calipers .. dunno about later Formula Fords

Formula Ford's used the Cooper "S" 10" callipers

Its not a 998 calliper either

Norton Commando.......... Usually left silver and polished but this one has been painted black

Norton Commando used one piece callipers and they looked nothing like that, also had 'Norton and Lockheed' cast into them.

Formula Ford 1600 were cast iron in the UK Alloy is verboten FF2000 different

Further to you pm Peter, did your mate get back to you and confirm it's not a Norton caliper ?
