OK next question, painted or not? Fr upper arm plates?

Post by AndyPen »

You can guess I am trying to move things along now, and the depth of my front flexi brake pipes is definitely not as deep as it should be for the banjo pillar for the brake light switch... gggrrrr

Just looking at these, Bob's are left plain and probably perfect ;-) But should they be painted???

May as well get it right whilst I have a chance ;-)

Painted I'm afraid Andy!

There can't be much in it with your front brake hoses Andy. Is it worth swopping them over, left to right to see if it's just a quirky error. Or boring down the mm or so needed, then tapping. Might save a bit pf aggro and waiting for another to turn up.

I've a lot of work come in Peter, so just ordered some mini spares ones and can carry on tinkering with the rear end arms etc. and maybe fit them, then handbrake cable. At my rate of progress a few days won't matter - ha ha.

Fingers crossed that the mini spares ones work then - they don't make distinction on the side when you buy them?
